1993 Mumbai Blast: Abu Salem, Mustafa Dossa and 4 Others Convicted

A series of 12 bomb explosions took place in Mumbai, India on 12th march 1993. In this shocking incident more than 250 died and hundreds of people injured. Nearly 24 years after, TADA court convicted six persons. The accused include Mustafa Dossa, Abu Salem, Taher Merchant, Feroz Abdul Rashid Khan, Karimullah Khan and Riyaz Siddiqui. Adu Salem extradited from Portugal in 2015 with a condition not grant him death. Salem was convicted for giving arms and ammunition to Bollywood actor Sanjay Dut. Sanjay Dutt was also sentenced to 5 years imprisonment by the Supreme Court.
